Listings are free. Some businesses pay for extra visibility, and we always label it.

Featured listings

A paid Featured listing appears in its own clearly labelled space at the top of a page, separate from the list. It never changes a business's position in a list.

Premium members

Premium members show their Google rating and review count on the lists they appear in, and their cards say Premium. Being Premium never changes where a business appears in a list, and every business's full Google reviews are on its own listing page whether it pays or not.

Photos at the top of a page

Where there's no Featured listing, the photo at the top of a page shows real work by one of the businesses on it, used with their permission. Nobody pays for this. The photo changes every week so no business keeps the spot, and the caption says whose work it is.

Sponsored articles

Articles a business has paid for are labelled Sponsored at the top. Links in them are marked as paid links.
